About us
Over more than 10 years, SONORA has built a strong roster of internationally recognised classical artists. Based in Poland and Germany, the agency successfully organises orchestral and chamber ensemble tours in this part of Europe. Malke Music Management specialises in early music. The agency has successfully given a new international dynamic to the artists, ensembles and festival it represents. SONORA and Malke Music Management starting from November 2023 are entering into close cooperation, becoming thus a leading player in the classical and early music market in Poland and Central Europe.
SONORA was founded over a decade ago by Stanislaw Suchora, a graduate of the Paris Sorbonne, and Mikołaj Bylka-Kanecki, a graduate of the the Paris Institute of Political Studies (Sciences Po). The agency currently represents 17 classical artists, including Linus Roth, Annelien Van Wauwe, Thomas Sanderling, Nils Mönkemeyer, Bartosz Koziak, Marc Korovitch, Ana de la Vega and composer Elżbieta Sikora. It has been involved in organising tours of such ensembles as Cameristi della Scala, the Slovenian RTV Orchestra, the NFM Wroclaw Philharmonic, the Collegium Musicale chamber choir, the NFM Leopoldinum, the Wrocław Baroque Orchestra, the Polish Sinfonia Iuventus Orchestra or the Robert-Schumann-Philharmonie Chemnitz. It is also responsible for the international tour of the Laureates of the 16th Henryk Wieniawski International Violin Competition in Poznań and collaborates with the Slovenian art collective Laibach on its special projects.
In the coming seasons, SONORA and Malke Music Management have projects planned with partners such as Orchestre philharmonique du Luxembourg, Freiburger Barockorchester, Montenegrin Symphony Orchestra, NFM Wroclaw Philharmonic, National Polish Radio Symphony Orchestra, Szczecin Philharmonic, Bozar Brussels, Seoul Arts Center, National Forum of Music, Eufonie Festival, Misteria Paschalia Festival in Krakow, Brandenburgische Sommerkonzerte, Pražské jaro, Stockholm Early Music Festival or Reykjavik Early Music Festival.
SONORA was created to initiate dialogue and engagement between different environments, cultures and generations. It permits the realization of ambitious projects containing the highest possible artistic values, as well as the creation and promotion of innovative musical phenomena.
Finally, SONORA allows us to achieve our aspirations – the things we believe in and love.
