"Hidden violin" - the first album of Janusz Wawrowski on Stradivarius "Polonia" awarded the Polish Phonographic Academy Award Fryderyk

„Hidden Violin” is a choice of the most beautiful and characteristic Polish pieces for violin and piano recorded together with José Gallardo. For this occasion Wawrowski chose compositions by Wieniawski, Karłowicz, Paderewski, Bacewicz, Różycki and Szymanowski. The CD has been released in December 2019 by Warner Classics. The album has been awarded the Polish Phonographic Academy Award Fryderyk for the best solo recital recording of the year.

It is probably the first CD in the history recorded on Stradivarius Polonia build in 1685 which has been recently purchased and loaned to Janusz Wawrowskiby a Polish art sponsors, Mr Roman Ziemian and Mr Stephan Morgenstern, the CEO of FutureNet.
