French premiere of Piano Concerto No. 3 by Zygmunt Krauze in Metz
On 17 January 2020 at 20:00 in the prestigious Arsenal concert hall in Metz, the French premiere of the Piano Concerto No. 3 – Fragments of Memory* by Zygmunt Krauze will take place. The work will be performed by the Orchestre national de Metz, with Zygmunt Krauze at the piano. The premiere will be conducted by Wilson Hermanto.
The concert programme will also include such works as Anatol Liadov’s Le Lac enchanté Op. 62 and Piotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky’s Symphony No. 6 in B minor “Pathetic” Op. 7.
At 19:00, Nicolas Moron will give a lecture with the participation of Zygmunt Krauze (free entrance).
*Commissioned by the International Festival Of Contemporary Music "Warsaw Autumn", Adam Mickiewicz Institute, L'Orchestre national de Metz and Warsaw Philharmonic.
