Japanese organist, based in Germany, Mari Fukumoto is currently in Japan, performing with the Kyoto Symphony Orchestra and the Tokyo City Philharmonic. Together with both orchestras, she presents Joseph Jongen's Sinfonie Concertante (listen to the artist's live recording, with the Slovak Radio Orchestra). After returning to Europe, Mari Fukumoto will return to her duties as a lecturer at the Hochschule für Musik Franz Liszt in Weimar, and on October 18 she will make her debut at the National Forum of Music, in a concert with the Wrocław Baroque Orchestra.

Later this year, Mari Fukumoto will record the composition Scrolling to zero by Rafał Zapała (the album is scheduled for release in 2021) and will present it as part of the Sonus ex Machina project at the New Music Festival “Arena” in Riga (October 30).
