Elżbieta Sikora's and Zygmunt Krauze's anniversary concerts

On the 30th of January 2018 a new piece by Elżbieta Sikora has been premiered in Paris by French ensemble Court-Circuit. Sonosphère II My’Kaddisch was performed on a special anniversary concert celebrating 75th birthday of the composer. Read the review in Remusica.

Five days later, on the 4th of February another significant Polish composer was celebrated. Zygmunt Krauze (who will turn 80 in September) has performed Bukoliki for piano solo by Lutosławski, interspersed by his own Bukoliki Preludes performed by the Polish Radio Orchestra, as part of the 15th edition od Chain Festival in Warsaw. Also, in January 2018 a new album entitled Folk Music, including archive recordings of Zygmunt Krauze's works has been released by Bôłt Records.
 
SONORA represents Elżebieta Sikora and Zygmunt Krauze. Number of events, performances and premieres by both composers are planned further in 2018 and during upcoming 2018/19 season.
