Over the past 14 years, Sonora has built a strong roster of internationally recognized classical artists. Based in Poland and Germany, the agency successfully organizes orchestral and chamber ensemble tours across this region of Europe. Additionally, it has successfully brought new international momentum to the artists, ensembles, and festivals it represents.
SONORA was founded over a decade ago by Stanisław Suchora and Mikołaj Bylka-Kanecki. Following its merger with Malke Music Management, the early music agency founded by Artur Malke, it now brings together the expertise of all three partners under the SONORA brand. Today, it is one of the leading classical and early music agencies in Poland and Central Europe.
The agency represents artists including Magdalene Ho, Nils Mönkemeyer, Thomas Sanderling, Marc Korovitch, Linus Roth, Marcin Świątkiewicz and composer Elżbieta Sikora. It also works with ensembles such as the Freiburger Barockorchester, Arte dei Suonatori, the Polish Radio Choir and the Equilibrium String Quartet.
SONORA organises tours for orchestras and ensembles including the Zurich Chamber Orchestra, the George Enescu Philharmonic Orchestra, the Prague Radio Symphony Orchestra, the Stuttgarter Philharmoniker, the Finnish Baroque Orchestra, the NFM Wrocław Philharmonic, the RTV Slovenia Symphony Orchestra, the Robert-Schumann-Philharmonie Chemnitz, the NFM Leopoldinum Orchestra, the Wrocław Baroque Orchestra, the Polish Sinfonia Iuventus Orchestra or The Sixteen.
The agency coordinated the international laureates’ tour following the 16th Henryk Wieniawski International Violin Competition in Poznań and is coordinating the tour for the laureates of its 17th edition in 2026. It also collaborates with the Slovenian art collective Laibach on special projects.
Beyond artist management and touring, SONORA contributes to the organisation of festivals, including the All’Improvviso International Festival of Early Music in Gliwice. It coordinates Classical:NEXT Katowice 2027 and curates one of the principal classical music programmes for Lublin 2029 European Capital of Culture.
SONORA connects communities, cultures and generations through music. It develops ambitious projects that combine artistic excellence with fresh perspectives, supporting both established artists and emerging voices.
